• Transaction Information: gig/job details, payment amounts, timestamps, status.

• Usage & Device Information: IP address, browser type, device ID, pages visited, time spent, language preference.

• Communication Data: messages sent via in-platform chat, support tickets, dispute submissions.

• Survey & Affiliate Data (Earn Extra): completion status, affiliate partner IDs, earnings from surveys (stored separately).

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (authentication, real-time chat, notifications, order management).

• Process payments and withdrawals (M-Pesa STK Push, PayPal payouts).

• Generate KRA-compliant tax reports and withholding calculations.

• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.

• Send important service messages, security alerts, and (with consent) marketing updates.

• Match survey opportunities in Earn Extra based on profile data.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service providers (payment processors – Safaricom Daraja, PayPal, Africa’s Talking for SMS, Firebase for hosting & analytics).

• Legal authorities when required by Kenyan law or court order.

• Affiliates in Earn Extra program only for reward tracking (anonymized where possible).

• In case of merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required).

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers (encrypted at rest and in transit). We implement:

• HTTPS everywhere

• Firebase Security Rules

• Audit logging of admin actions

• Limited access (only authorized personnel)

• Regular security assessments

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined or as required by law (e.g., financial records for KRA compliance).

Under Kenyan data protection law, you have the right to:
