Escrow until you accept

FreelanceKE holds the buyer’s payment until the work is accepted. That is the core of the marketplace.

  1. 01

    Agree the work

Buyer and seller lock the brief, price, and timing on the order.

  2. 02

    Fund escrow

The buyer pays by card from any country, or with M-Pesa in Kenya. Funds stay held — they are not the seller’s yet.

  3. 03

    Do the work

The seller delivers in chat and files on the order.

  4. 04

    Accept and release

The buyer accepts. Payment is released. Sellers withdraw to Payoneer from 1,000 units. Kenya sellers can also use M-Pesa.

  5. 05

    Dispute if needed

If the work is not right, do not release. Open a dispute on the order.

Disputes

Keep chat and files on the order. Write to disputes@freelanceke.co.ke. Reviews happen after both sides have a chance to share evidence.

Anyone can create an account, hire, or list work. Card checkout is worldwide. M-Pesa checkout and M-Pesa withdrawals stay Kenya only. Withdrawals start at 1,000 units and are sent after review.
